Paint3D is a great application that allows you to create 2D and 3D drawings very easily. The application includes a cubic grid in which you can make your creation without difficulties by rotating the different faces with the mouse. There is an extensive palette with colors to choose from and drawing tools such as pencil, line, brush, bucket, and shapes. Other tools include the ability to add voxels (which are small cubes), paint the surface, create extrusions and rotate them, and use a magic wand to move parts of the drawing.
The final drawing can be cut or copied as 2D, and you can even select a slice of the drawing to start a new creation or save it in a separate file. In the image tab, you will find a set of editing options such crop, trim borders, scale, flip, rotate, and invert colors. Sadly, the user interface is not very attractive and it includes small buttons which are not very recognizable.
In short, if you are looking for an editor to create 3D drawings, Paint3D may work for you.
